About

A studio built to move you forward.

The Room 2 Move exists to help people feel stronger, move more freely and stay capable for life — in a welcoming space where everyone is coached towards their own goals.

We're on Tapleys Hill Road in Seaton, minutes from the western suburbs and the coast. The studio was set up around one idea: a class should leave you better at moving, not just tired.

Reformer Pilates is the foundation, and we build on it with functional strength and mobility work. Set-up is checked, spring loads are chosen for you, and the timetable stays honest — 50 minutes, on the clock, so it fits around real life.

Wherever you're starting from, you'll be supported and encouraged. We measure success in strength, mobility, energy and confidence — and in the everyday things that get easier because of the work you do here.

How we teach

Three things we hold to

Set-up before speed
You'll be shown the machine and supported on position before we add tempo or load.
Options, always
Every exercise is offered at more than one level so the class fits the body that showed up today.
Progress, not perfection
You should be able to name what got stronger. We coach towards your goals, not towards exhaustion.

Questions

Before your first class

I've never done reformer before. Can I still come?
Absolutely. Reformer Flow is open to all levels and your instructor will walk you through the machine before you start — springs, footbar, straps and safe set-up. Everyone starts somewhere, and we coach for progress, not perfection.
What should I bring?
Grip socks are required and available at the studio. Wear fitted activewear so your instructor can see your alignment, and bring water. Everything else is here.
What will I actually get out of it?
Strength, mobility, energy and confidence in how your body moves. Members tell us the difference shows up outside the studio — lifting, walking, playing with the kids, sleeping better.
Can I come while pregnant or postnatal?
Yes, with a conversation first. Book a private session so your instructor can build a plan around your stage and clearance, then move into group classes when you're ready.
Where do I park?
There's a carport at the rear of the building with rear entry into the studio — Tapleys Hill Road is a main road with no stopping out front. Arrive five to ten minutes early for your first visit.
